I am in the business of creating, promoting and maintaining websites. I have acquired knowledge about things that work and things that don’t. I know ‘how-to’ do things to get my site where it needs to be. But at the end of the day, I am one person and I can’t do everything. Sooner or later I am going to hit the limit on the amount of work I can deliver. Biting off way more than you can chew can only get you so far.
We all know its easier to make a 1$/day site than a 100$/day site. So people resort to making hundred 1$/day site. ‘Make and Forget’ websites are soon becoming a thing of the past. Search Engines like fresh quality unique content. Its a serious challenge to delivery quality content on a regular basis to 100 sites. Additionally, out of the 100 sites that you make expecting each to make a dollar a day only 70-80 might actually deliver. There is a success rate to account for. Plus, If you are managing 100 websites there is no way you can build links to them manually. You’ll need to automate it. This automation will leave a trail no matter how hard you try. Eventually your sites will be found and buried in the SERPs.
I am considering taking a much more moderate approach to the issue. I am going to try to make ten , 10$ a day site. It is going to be easier rolling out content and building links. I can actually spend some time personally on all of them. Another trick is to go in very similar niches, so each site can compliment each other in the SERPs. Document the complete process. Analyze the documentation and make a note of what works and what doesn’t. Maintaining journals is a way better approach to take than keeping a mental note.Eventually, break it down into a series of distinct steps which can be replicated time and time again.
I had a system that did pretty well. But is almost insignificant now with all the Google updates. Its time a new system comes into place. Its time stuff changes. Its time when I actually role out stuff, that I know will stand the test of time. Once, I know my system works. I can get other to carry out tasks for me. I’ll need to be there just as a supervisor to ensure everything is being done as I would like it to.
I’ll keep you people updated.
