Companies like mine take the confidentiality of data and best practices quite seriously. So bound by contract I am not really allowed to disclose anything that would put anything in jeopardy. I am in the business of creating, promoting and maintaining websites. I have acquired knowledge about things that work and things that don’t. I know ‘how-to’ do things to get my site where it needs to be. But at the end of the day, I am one person and I can’t do everything. Sooner or later I am going to hit the limit on the amount of work I can deliver. Biting off way more than you can chew can…

Passing Sub Ids on a Masked URL

Today I encountered a problem while setting up my facebook campaign. I was direct linking. The URL being displayed on the Ad was of my CPA network which was unacceptable. I first though of a redirect but this would not work well because of the Sub Id’s being passed. I put my coding hat on and programmed a simple redirect on PHP. It serves as a relay during redirect for the sub id. The code is below: <?php // Fetching…

99 Percent Animal , One Percent Human

The following is one of the quotes that really touched me. If people understand the following statement, 99% of their problems could be solved. “The average person, in my estimation, is ninety-nine per cent animal and one per cent human. The ninety-nine per cent that is animal causes very little trouble. But the one per cent that is human causes all our woes. When people learn — as I doubt they will — that they can’t get something for nothing,…
